Abstract

The paper presents contemporary possibilities of using acetylsalicylic acid. It is widely remembered mainly about its advantages in the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular events and recommended in patients with ischemic heart disease, after a heart attack and after ischemic stroke. However, the possibilities of using acetylsalicylic acid in medicine are much wider. The article presents contemporary therapeutic possibilities.
