Abstract
Azithromicin is a new generation macrolide. It has a broad spectrum of action – apart from bacteriostatic and antiseptic effects, azithromicin has many additional ones. Moreover, unique pharmacokinetic parameters make use of azithromycin very convenient. In the article, 6 reasons for use of azithromycin have been pointed.
