Abstrakt
Refluks żołądkowo-przełykowy jest to mimowolne cofanie się treści pokarmowej z żołądka do przełyku. Jest jednym z najczęstszych zaburzeń czynnościowych przewodu pokarmowego u dzieci. U noworodków i niemowląt dominuje refluks fizjologiczny, związany z niedojrzałością przewodu pokarmowego. Choroba refluksowa to natomiast obecność objawów podmiotowych i/lub uszkodzenia błony śluzowej spowodowanych patologicznym zarzucaniem treści żołądkowej do przełyku. Artykuł przedstawia aktualne wytyczne diagnostyki i leczenia choroby refluksowej zgodnie z najnowszymi rekomendacjami Europejskiego Towarzystwa Gastroenterologii, Hepatologii i Żywienia Dzieci (ESPGHAN, European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition).
