Abstract

By presenting various clinical questions in a daily clinical practice, we start a new section called „ABC of the Evidence Based Medicine (EBM)”. In the next issues we will present basics of the EBM and various definitions according to the EBM and good clinical practice. In the context of these basics, we will aim to discuss clinical trials methodology, forms of presentation of trail results and make an attempt at critical assessing of the results. This section will make some sort of the specific alphabet in the research evidence classification, degree of reliability assessing, and finally making use of the recommendations.
