Abstract

Lercanidipine is a new generation calcium channels antagonist. Lercanidipine is effective in blood pressure reduction. It has greater vascular selectivity and less adverse effects than older calcium antagonists. In the article authors indicate seven arguments for using lercanidipine as a antihypertensive agent.
