Abstrakt

Kompleksowa rehabilitacja kardiologiczna (KRK) jest uznaną metodą prewencji wtórnej wielu schorzeń sercowo-naczyniowych. Liczne badania kliniczne wskazują na skuteczność kompleksowej rehabilitacji kardiologicznej w poprawie wydolności układu krążenia, jakości życia i ograniczaniu śmiertelności sercowo-naczyniowej. Jakkolwiek, już przed epidemią COVID-19 realizacja kompleksowej rehabilitacji kardiologicznej, a zwłaszcza jej etapu II, napotykała wiele problemów. Jednym z istotnych były trudności z regularnym dojazdem pacjentów na zajęcia rehabilitacyjne prowadzone ambulatoryjnie.


Epidemia COVID-19 dodatkowo pogłębiła te problemy – wiele ośrodków zostało zamkniętych dla chorych, co utrudniło lub całkowicie uniemożliwiło pacjentom korzystanie z rehabilitacji w dotychczasowej formie. Do rozwiązania tych problemów może się przyczynić upowszechnienie hybrydowej telerehabilitacji kardiologicznej. W artykule omówiono kluczowe informacje dotyczące metod, skuteczności i bezpieczeństwa tej nowej formy kompleksowej rehabilitacji kardiologicznej.
