Abstrakt
Wybór konkretnego doustnego leku przeciwkrzepliwego niebędącego antymetabolitem witaminy K (DOAC), choć bywa bardzo trudny, jest kluczowy dla uzyskania kompromisu między skutecznością a bezpieczeństwem terapii. Z uwagi na brak badań randomizowanych porównujących poszczególne DOAC, nie ma jednoznacznych kryteriów pozwalających ułatwić ten wybór. Dlatego też wiedzę tę uzyskujemy pośrednio z badań III fazy dla poszczególnych leków przeciwkrzepliwych oraz badań nierandomizowanych porównujących DOAC z codziennych obserwacji klinicznych.
