Abstract
New clinical data in invasive cardiology encouraged ACC/AHA experts to revise an update Guidelines for the Management of Patients With ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction and Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (2009 STEMI and PCI Focused Updates). New guidelines apply modern therapies (new antiplatelet drugs) and technics in acute coronary syndromes. The role of invasive treatment in ACS is crucial and we still have new evidence for that.
