Abstract
Conscious and independent undertaking of clinical decisions in agreement with evidence-based medicine requires ability of evaluating clinical situation, choosing management according to actual and reliable data after patient’s situation and preference consideration. Selecting reliable data sources among number of publications requires knowledge of types of trials, their advantages and limits. In this article clinical trials and practice guidelines features were discussed that decide about its reliability.
