Memoirs from ESC Congress 2010 in Stockholm Meeting Proceedings

Abstract

The 2010 congress of The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) was held in Stockholm. Over the last few years, progress in the field of cardiovascular disease has been truly remarkable. However, coronary heart disease remains the leading cause of mortality in men over 45 years, and in women over 65 years throughout Europe. During many sessions new guidelines were announced, as well as results of registries and clinical trials.
