Abstract

The 2011 congress of The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) was held in Paris. Over the last few years, progress in the field of cardiovascular disease has been truly remarkable. However, coronary heart disease remains the leading cause of mortality in developed countries years throughout Europe. During many sessions new guidelines were announced, as well as results of registries and clinical trials.
