Abstract

Symptoms limiting daily physical activity among patients with heart failure (HF) result in quality of life. Proceedings according to the guidelines for patients with HF increase the length of survival, reduce the risk of subsequent hospitalization and the severity of symptoms. The therapy of heart failure supplemented with ivabradine improves the functional capacity and quality of life while reducing the risk of subsequent hospital admissions. It may result in prognosis improving especially in the case of a patient who has already had past hospitalizations secondary to worsening of symptoms.
