Main Article Content
Abstract
Keeping antibiotics effective and safe requires individualization of drug selection. This increases the effectiveness of the treatment and at the same time reduces the number of adverse reactions. One of the most frequently used antibiotics in both outpatient and hospital treatment is cefuroxime, which, because of its wide spectrum of activity and favourable pharmacokinetic profile, is characterized by optimal antimicrobial efficacy.
