Abstract

Chemical structure of sulodexide is a similar to heparin. This drug has anticoagulant, profibrinolytic, anti-inflammatory and protective effects on the vascular endothelium. It is used to treat venous and arterial thromboembolism. Improves healing of leg ulcers in patients with venous and arterial insufficiency. It also reduces the risk of recurrence of thrombosis in prolonged secondary prevention of venous thromboembolism.
