Powder cellulose in allergic rhinitis management: facts Review article

Abstract
Allergic rhinitis often coexist in asthmatic patients. Cellulose powder (HPMC) due to its moisturizing and inflammatory properties, has been reported as a safe and effective complementary topical treatment of allergic rhinitis. HPMC can prevent from binding an allergen to nasal mucosa, may reduce allergic rhinitis symptoms.
