Abstract

Elderberry is a herbal medicine used as a complementary treatment in many disorders, especially in the upper respiratory tract infections. Elderberry fruits extracts reduce the severity and duration of the respiratory symptoms, they also inhibit the growth of some viruses and bacteria.
