Abstrakt
W leczeniu bólu stosuje się wiele różnych leków o odmiennych mechanizmach działania. Pomimo działań niepożądanych z zakresu przewodu pokarmowego, układu krążenia czy nerek, niesteroidowe leki przeciwzapalne (NLPZ) są nadal lekami pierwszego wyboru w leczeniu dolegliwości bólowych układu kostno-stawowego. Do wyboru odpowiedniego leku z grupy NLPZ skłaniają bezpieczeństwo i skuteczność leczenia. Acemetacyna ze względu na właściwości farmakologiczne może być lekiem z wyboru w określonej grupie pacjentów.
