Abstrakt
W artykule omówiono wielokierunkową zależność między występowaniem objawów lękowych oraz schorzeń układu sercowo-naczyniowego, a także wpływ utrzymującego się wysokiego poziomu lęku na przebieg schorzeń kardiologicznych i rokowanie. Omawiając negatywne konsekwencje zdrowotne zaburzeń lękowych, podkreślono znaczenie wczesnego rozpoznania tych zaburzeń oraz wdrożenia terapii. Jako punkt wyjściowy przedstawiono przypadki kliniczne pacjentów obciążonych kardiologicznie, u których wystąpiły zaburzenia lękowe. W dalszej części omówiono różne aspekty leczenia farmakologicznego zaburzeń lękowych, skupiając się na możliwości zastosowania w tym wskazaniu pregabaliny.
