Abstract

The article presents three clinical cases of patients with osteoporosis and overlapping chronic conditions (osteoarthritis, obesity, hypertension, chronic pain syndromes) to illustrate an optimal model for long-term treatment. Maintaining high adherence over extended therapy remains a primary objective, necessitating consideration of drug interactions, potential side effects, and patient preferences. This paper highlights the importance of supplements and over-the-counter (OTC) medications that patients often take independently, without informing their healthcare providers. A thorough patient history should also include these preparations as a foundation for effective pain management and calcium and vitamin D3 supplementation.
