Phytotherapy in the treatment of rhinosinusitis
Main Article Content
Abstract
Phytotherapy is an effective and safe form of supportive symptomatic and causal treatment of inflammatory rhinosinusitis and different etiology. Advantages of phytotherapy in the treatment of rhinosinusitis include good tolerance and absence of adverse effects. According to the European Position Paper on Rhinosinusitis and Nasal Polyps – EPOS 2012, natural compounds may be used as an adjunct treatment in some cases and in certain periods of the disease.
