Abstract

In this paper results of studies over the course of pollen seasons of hazel (Corylus), alder (Alnus), birch (Betula), grasses (Poaceae) and (Artemisia) has been presented. The studies were carried in Warsaw (Bielany district) in 2013 using volumetric method (Lanzoni). Pollen season was defined as a period in which 98% of the annual total catch occurred. Pollen seasons of hazel and alder started few days later and lasted until the second decade of April. Birch pollen season was strongly reduced (16 days). The maximum daily concentration of grasses and mugwort was lower compared to the previous year.
