The modern solutions in the technology of trust and pharmacologically effective medicinal substances
Main Article Content
Abstract
The effectiveness and the efficiency of therapy depends on whether the active pharmaceutical component will be released from the drug form at the right time and place. In order to absorb the drug substance, it must be molecularly dispersed in the place of absorption. Due to the physicochemical properties of the drug substance and therapeutic compliance, it is not possible to administer of drugs only in the solutions’ form. The application of the dispersible tablets in therapy is a very good alternative to the previously used drug forms, especially to antibiotics. The dispersible tablets guarantee also better stability of the active ingredient itself limiting the possibility of hydrolysis of the active substance in the aqueous environment. Currently, the placing on the market of dispersible tablets with azithromycin gives the physicians an additional tool, in addition to the existing forms of the drug, to increase the effectiveness of pharmacotherapy and to obtain a full compliance.
