Analysis of the plantain pollen seasons in the selected Polish cities in 2007
Main Article Content
Abstract
The aim of the study was to analyse the plantain pollen seasons in 9 monitoring stations in Poland in 2007. The volumetric method of sampling was used. The estimation of the seasonal parameters was based on the descriptive statistics. All pollen seasons started in the 2nd part of May and lasted about 3,5 months. The differences between the duration of pollen season and SPI value in all sites were recorded. One or more pollen peak concentrations in the season were observed, especially in the 2nd decade of June and the 3th decade of July.
