Abstract

Aim: Epidemiology of allergy in Poland (ECAP).


Method: ISAAC and ECRHS questionnaires were realized in 9101 polish citizen in 2006. 2344 of them had allergy consultation. All participants were included into the study according randomization made by Ministry of Internal Affairs.


Results: Over 25% of population declared Rhinitis, 10% – Asthma. Coincidence of asthma and rhinitis: 70% of asthma people had rhinitis, 20-30% of rhinitis people had asthma. Atopic dermatitis appears in about 7% of population.


Conclusion: Allergic diseases concern 1/4 polish population.
