Abstract

The development of knowledge and understanding of pathomechanisms of asthma confirmed basic role of inhaled steroids in asthma management. Its effectiveness has been proved both in direct assessments of bronchial mucosa and in the control asthma. This paper describes threats connected with incorrect asthma treatment and lack of compliance.
