Women, future doctors at european universities
Main Article Content
Abstract
For centuries a woman’s role in life was to be a wife, a mother and a career. Education and careers were man’s domain and any attempt to fight the prejudice and stereotypes met a wall of resistance and even hostility. Some women though took up the challenge and started the fight which resulted in equality in educational opportunities and the freedom to choose their occupation.
