Alternaria spores in the air of Warsaw in 2010

Abstract
The aim of the study was the analysis the concentration of Alternaria spores in the city of Warsaw, in 2010. Measurements were performed by the volumetric method (Lanzoni pollen and spores sampler). The spore’s season was defined as the period in which 90% of the annual total catch occurred. The Alternaria season began on the 20th of June and the highest concentration of spores was observed on the 12th of August (432 Alternaria spores/1 m3).
