The analysis of mugwort pollen count in the air of Bialystok in 2010
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the paper the course of mugwort (Artemisia) pollen season in Białystok in 2010 is presented. The measurements were performed by volumetric method with the use of VPPS Lanzoni. The pollen season was determined as the period in which 95% of the annual total catch occurred. The pollen season began on the 20th of July and the highest concentration of grass pollen was observed on the 14th of August (61 pollen grain /1 m3). The fifteen days with the concentration over 30 p/m3 and only 2 days with the concentration over 55 p/m3 were noted.
