Grass pollen in the air of Sosnowiec in 2010

Abstract
The paper presents the results of the analysis of grass pollen season in 2010 in Sosnowiec. Measurements were performed by means of the volumetric method using a Burkard-type spore trap. Pollen season was defined as the period in which 98% of the annual total catch occurred. The beginning of the season was recorded on May 27. The length of pollen season was 98 days. The highest daily concentration was found on July 3 (309 grains/m3). In June and first half of July the maximum concentration of pollen was noted.
