Pollen season was defined as period in which 98% of the annual total catch occurred. It has been shown that the alder pollen season started with the beginning of March and it was shorter in comparison to season 2009.Seasonal pollen index (SPI) was estimated as annual sum of daily average pollen concentration. In 2010 were reported higher number of days with pollen count exceeding the thresholds in relation to the 2009.
