The analysis of alder pollen in the air of Bialystok in 2010
Main Article Content
Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the pollen season of alder (Alnus) in Białystok in 2010. Measurements were carried out with the Lanzoni volumetric trap. The pollen season was determined as the period in which 95% of the annual total catch occurred. The pollen season began on the 18th of March and the highest concentration of alder pollen was observed on the 26th of March (284 pollen grain/1 m3). The nine days with the concentration over 45 p/m3 and 7 days with the concentration over 85 p/m3 were noted.
