Abstract

Aspergillus/Penicillium spores have been noted as an important and prevalent group of fungal airspora worldwide. Their spores are similar in size, shape and colour so they cannot be recorded as separate genera by spore trapping and they are categorized under one group. It have subsequently been reported as having allergenic properties and have been implicated in the elicitation of respiratory allergic diseases.
