Patient rights in cross-border healthcare

Abstract
European Union provisions regulate a range of actions on healthcare. The most important of them is the Cross-Border Healthcare Directive on the application of patients’ rights in cross-border healthcare that governs ways and principles of reimbursement of healthcare provided in a Member State other than the country of residence.
