Why was cefuroxime used in the treatment of many diseases – specialists’ point of view

Abstract
Cefuroxime is a second generation semi-synthetic cephalosporin, a prodrug that has a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity and is characterized by resistance to many classic β-lactamases produced by penicillin resistant strains.
