Abstract

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a condition most commonly identified with the English acronym ADHD. The variety of diagnostic classifications and diversity of the clinical manifestation of the disease often affect the results of epidemiological studies. This article aims to present the prevalence of ADHD in children and adults nowadays. It is also an attempt to identify the most characteristic factors influencing these differences.
