Narcotics in clinical practice Review article
Main Article Content
Abstract
There are many different types of narcotics. The three most common classes of narcotics are stimulants, euphorics and hallucinogens. All of them influence substantially people’s well-being and modify their lifestyle. For the time being various forms of drug dependence are not properly diagnosed and treated. The effectiveness of doctors’ visits can be strongly decreased due to the intake of specific or non-specific substances. This article presents some leads how to diagnose and confirm a typical set of drug symptoms. It helps to make some practical management plans, which will include treatment as well as further plans for follow-up rehabilitation and prevention.
