Abstrakt

Zespół nadpobudliwości psychoruchowej to zaburzenie najczęściej utożsamiane z angielskim skrótem ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; zespół nadpobudliwości psychoruchowej z deficytem uwagi). Różnorodność klasyfikacji diagnostycznych oraz zróżnicowanie obrazu klinicznego tego schorzenia niejednokrotnie wpływają na wyniki badań epidemiologicznych. Artykuł ma na celu zobrazowanie rozprzestrzenienia ADHD w populacji dzieci i dorosłych we współczesnym świecie. Jest on również próbą identyfikacji najbardziej charakterystycznych czynników wpływających na powyższe różnice.
