Abstrakt

Pregabalina jest stosowana w leczeniu: uogólnionych zaburzeń lękowych (GAD, generalized anxiety disorder), fibromialgii, epilepsji (w skojarzonej terapii napadów częściowych) i bólu neuropatycznego. Pozarejestracyjne zastosowania pregabaliny obejmują: lęk społeczny, zespół abstynencyjny po alkoholu lub benzodiazepinach, zespół niespokojnych nóg oraz migreny. Lek umożliwia zmniejszenie wykorzystania opioidów w różnych zespołach bólowych. Pregabalina może być stosowana alternatywnie do benzodiazepin i leków przeciwdepresyjnych w terapii zaburzeń lękowych. Stała się podstawowym lekiem przeciwlękowym w terapii lekoopornych przypadków zaburzeń lękowych.
