Abstract

The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has significantly impacted the activities of medical entities and patients’ confidence in them. In our ward, we observed a dramatic decrease in patients’ reporting rates for both scheduled visits and unfortunately emergencies. This has had serious consequences for the success of the healing process. This paper presents statistical data from our ward and recent cases in which a patient's delay in seeking medical help could pose a serious threat to vision.
