Abstrakt

Neuroleptyki II generacji, a przede wszystkim kwetiapina i olanzapina, potwierdziły skuteczność w leczeniu zaburzeń depresyjnych u pacjentów jedno- i dwubiegunowych. Kwetiapina jest pierwszym atypowym neuroleptykiem zarejestrowanym w Polsce w leczeniu zaburzeń jednobiegunowych. W tym przeglądzie zaprezentowano całościowy obraz badań klinicznych nad wykorzystaniem neuroleptyków II generacji w leczeniu zaburzeń depresyjnych oraz związanych z tym kwestii farmakologicznych.
