Key Criteria for Patients’ Selection for Multifocal Intraocular Lenses Implantation
Main Article Content
Abstract
Patients’ satisfaction after cataract surgery depends not only on good visual outcome for distance vision, but also on good near and intermediate vision. Multifocal lens implantation is increasingly recommended to correct ametropia and presbyopia. Meticulous qualification, choice of proper intraocular lens and uneventful surgery are crucial factors to provide the patient comfort and overall satisfaction. The author presents his own experiences regarding appropriate examination before multifocal lens implantation.
