Abstract

This article presents a cross-section of current knowledge concerning regular astigmatism, its etiology, factors affecting the measurement of astigmatism and methods of correction. The aim of this article is to introduce practitioners to selected issues related to the correction of regular astigmatism and help their daily work with patients suffering from astigmatic refractive error to become more straight forward and predictable.
