Abstract
In current article a new definition of myocardial infarction has been presented. This document has been worked out by experts scientific societies: the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the American College of Cardiology Foundation (ACCF), the American Heart Association (AHA), and the World Heart Federation (WHF). Next definition of myocardial infarction has been presented because of development of a new diagnostic methods and necessity of early identification of patients with myocardial infarction.
