Patient with hypertension, paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, type 2 diabetes mellitus, cerebral stroke and cerebrovascular hematoma Case report
Main Article Content
Abstract
Antihypertensive treatment in patients with comorbidities is problematic due to the numerous interactions. The paper discusses the case of a patient with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and type 2 diabetes, with a history of cerebral stroke and hematoma. Due to the elevated blood pressure, the patient required combined treatment. The use of perindopril plus indapamide helped regulate her arterial blood pressure, and reduced the risk of another stroke, vascular complications and nephropathy.
