Genetics in cardiac arrhythmias Review article
Main Article Content
Abstract
Cardiac arrhythmias constitute a considerable percentage of cardiovascular diseases. Some of them are genetically determined and it is possible to have genetic tests confirming the presence of the disease. Genetic tests in hereditary heart diseases are important not only in confirming the diagnosis but, above all, enables cascade screening of asymptomatic relatives of the patient.
