First number of the quarterly "Cardiology in Practice" was published in 2007 and it is published 4 times a year. From the very beginning the editor-in-chief is assoc. prof. Jacek Lewandowski, Md, PhD. This peer-reviewed scientific journal focuses on the presentation of practical aspects of the treatment of heart diseases and circulatory diseases.

For this reason, "Cardiology in Practice" publishes review articles, original works, case studies and other papers on the broadly understood cardiological issues, focusing on the practical aspects of diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The journal is intended for cardiologists, general practitioners and medical residents. While every effort has been made to provide up-to-date information, especially on drug dosing, it is advisable that physicians make final decisions about their use.
