Abstract

The article presents results of the JUPITER Study (Justification for the Use of Statins in Primary Prevention: an Intervention Trial Evaluating Rosuvastatin) which assessed benefits of rosuvastatin therapy in apparently healthy persons without hyperlipidemia but with elevated high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels.
