Abstract
The paper presents the characteristics of 10 species, such as Epipremnum aureum, Euphorbia cyparissias, Euphorbia pulcherrima, Euphorbia tirucalli, Ginkgo biloba, Helenium autumnale, Matricaria chamomilla, Monstera deliciosa, Philodendron hederaceum, Spathiphyllum wallisii. All of them contain substances, which can cause eye discomfort or disease. The table shows the list of those plants, their organs hazardous to the eyes and harmful chemical compounds produced by them.
